Claim Services


Welcomes all customers to Claims section where promptly provide the utmost claims services and the best assistance to you.

In the event of an accident, you may wish to contact your agent or broker before you contact Generali Insurance (Thailand) Company Limited.

Our team or the appointed loss adjuster will attend the spot for investigation whenever needed.
  • For motor claims, we reach the scene within 25 minutes.
  • For non motor claims, we go to the risk location, site or the spot as soon as possible or as scheduled.
In respect of all claims the claim form need to be filled out and sent to us as soon as you become aware of accident happened. All related and supported documentations e.g. letters, claim documents, summons, photos, etc. must also be sent to us as soon as you receive them.

Additionally, we provide the Personal Accident Policy Holder with our hospital service in case of an accident happened. This service would be provided by the hospitals listed in the policy attachment.


Preliminary Claims Handling Guide
The following paragraphs would help you to preliminary manage your claim when accident happens.
  • If the property insured is lost, destroyed or damaged or if you suffer Financial Losses, “Do everything that is reasonably practicable to minimize the loss.”
  • If property is believed to have been stolen or if malicious damage is suspected, notify the police and give them cooperation in bringing about discovery and punishment of any guilty person and in tracing and recovering lost and stolen property.
  • Do not admit liability or negotiate the settlement of any claim without Generali Thailand’s agreement.
  • Do not agree to waive any right of recovery which you may have against any other party without Generali Thailand’s agreement.
  • Photograph of the damage should be taken before anything is disturbed.
  • Keep anything which may be connected with the accident or claim without altering it in any way until Generali agrees that it may be disposed of.
Documentation to support the claims.
The required documents to substantiate your claims are depending on the type and cause of the loss. The followings are the preliminary required documents submitted to us. However, additional documents for some specific cases may be asked for further consideration.

GenProperty, GenHome, GenSMEs Claims
  • Claim Form (GenProperty/ GenHome/ GenSMEs)
  • Original or copy of invoice/receipt for repair or replacement
  • Police Report (if necessary)
  • Photograph of the damaged property
  • Any other related documents to prove the loss ( on case by case)
GenMarine Claim
  • Marine Cargo Claim Form
  • Invoice
  • Packing list
  • Bill of Lading/Airway Bill
  • Survey Note/DMC
  • Copy of claim letter to carriers
  • Original Policy
  • Photographs of damage
GenMotor Claim
  • Claim Form
  • Copy of Driving License
  • Copy of Car License Number
  • Police Report
GenPersonal Accident Claim
    For Medical Expense
  • Claim Form
  • Police Report (if necessary)
  • Medical Bill
  • Doctor certificate
  • Copy of ID card and House registration
